There is a Chesapeake well pad going in about 2000 feet SE of my house. Document board out front says it is the Lehman well. Has a well number and GPS coordinates. Then it gets confusing. It says the well is in Hanover township. This is not Hanover township, it is Fairfield. The well pad is off of the east side of route 7 between Rt. 46 and Crestview rd. Why would the sign say Hanover township? Any ideas?

Thanks!

That location looks about right. per forever1948  from what I saw yesterday.   Maybe theres no well number yet because the permit hasnt been pulled yet.   :)   see old dogs do learn new tricks...thanks to US....

Linda,

You are correct (again).  The "Well Number of 835572" on the sign appears to be a Chesapeake #, not an ODNR Permit #.  The is no API Well # (ODNR permit) assigned yet.  There is no permit paperwork posted on the White Board either. The driveway is coming along nicely.

Did anybody else notice the Wind Turbine Farm east of the Lehman well ?

The Wind Turbines appear to be off SR-46 going SE from SR-7

They've been there about 6 months. There's two more 2 miles east up on the hill you can see also. The ones on 46 haven't turn since they've been installed. The other ones do though.

" ... Why would the sign say Hanover township? ... "

ODNR will contact CHPK and they will make them aware of the mistake.
