Not sure how many of you read the updated news feeds that Randy King often posts on this site, but an interesting one about Chesapeake/Enervest sheds light on the RH DK #8H well in Wheeling Twp.

The article states "The company is encouraged by the tests of 5 oil window wells by others. Enervest has completed 2 operated wells- 1 in Guernsey County and 1 in Starke County. Both wells will be shut in for 30 -60 days to dissipate water from frac fluid."

It appears that after fracking the companies are waiting 30-90 days for the frac to "brew". According to previous posts on "Quiet in Guernsey County" the frac trucks left Indian Camp on April 21st. So, we should be hearing some murmurings in the next 30 days or so.

Anyone hearing anything yet?   or   Any other comments?

There is a battery of perhaps 8 storage tanks and the largest pump jack I have yet seen.  Would this be a good sign or an indication that the well pressure is not grat enough to move the oil?

That's a good question. Hopefully someone else will be able to answer that for us. I will e-mail some people and see if anyone knows. I also noticed that they have another permit for that site that has been issued. Possibly for another lateral?

I too saw that permit for a second lateral, 9H,which would run to the northwest.  I take that as a positive.  Also, I see Devon has permitted for a well in Knox Township.

Drove by the site yesterday, pump jack is running, pipe line 75%complete,not tied in yet.I don't understand how the pump is running an no where for the gas to go.The flare skid an equipment is gone. The pad looks like apad in production.I am seeing a few tank trucks going by,different company than when they was pulling the frac.water.Can they produce oil and still not use the gas?  Thanks !

Why hasn't Entervest made any statements about this well?Gas line comp.an tied in.Pump is running, oil is being trucked out!

I wonder the same. I would just like to have some information on how it looks. At least we know it's running. Thanks Richard.

I also noticed on the latest ODNR report of permits that there was a new permit entered for the RHDK Investments 21-4-4 6H, and of course there was already one entered in early summer for the RHDK Investments 9H.

Jon,knox twp is putting in a new bridge on little indian, rumors are they plan to start another well in oct. I guess it is wait an see.Hah!

We live in Adams twp but we are only 7 miles south as the crow flies. I always try to stay up on what happens to the North and South (Seneca twp) of us. It seems like the Indian camp well site is producing, but I'd love to see some numbers. Thanks for at least some information about what's going on there.

On another note...I have noticed that the site of the injection well that was behind Valley Welding is now getting a block building erected over it. Any idea what that is? ( Anyone?).

The wall street journal reports that Enervest is trying to fetch $6 billion somolians for it's utica holdings. Could it be BP?
