A little early, but I'll be out of the loop for a few days. CHK has been very busy with new leases, assigned leases and extended leases. Some times more than 250 per day.  Added Calmitch unit. Amended Zaleski North and Katzenstein South units.

Thank you Frank, we did not realize that is what is going on with Talisman.  It is too bad they are conducting their business this way, we thought they were one of the "good" companies but I guess they are all out for themselves.   What really bothers me is that after looking into this further we purchased the documents through Landex and it clearly states See Attachment A and B. " A "is a list of the property owners and B is not attached which my guess is would be the map.  None of these wells have been drilled in fact no pads have even been formed.  I am not sure why they would file these documents so far in advance.

Barbara thank you for the response.

I will attempt to be as clear here as I can be:

I'm aware Talisman at times has filed unit declarations far, far in advance of production;  so far in advance that it was a puzzlement.  Others might, but I do not criticize them for that practice.  I assume, without knowing for certain, but I assume that it's being done for HBP purposes.  And my earlier post was unrelated to HBP concerns.

Instead, the problem I am seeing has to do with producing units which are paying royalties right now.  In order for Talisman to compute and pay out royalties for such units they must, they absolutely must, have an overall unit size number which they use for computational purposes.  The amount of a royalty owner's monthly royalty check is a function of and depends on that number.

So why does Talisman refuse to share that number with royalty owners?  And why, now, are they possibly even concealing the drilling unit maps, making it impossible for us even to approximate that number?  This is not good for Talisman royalty owners.  Secrecy is never good.

They need to receive many more.  But I've been told Talisman already has received many complaints about these new practices.  So far they have not reformed the process.  Sounds to me as if things might actually be becoming worse!!

I just updated the map to include my best guess based on owners of Porcupine (Carrington), Lombardo and Nekoranik units. Maybe these others not included are leased with other cos?

Wayne- You are 100% right. We have no interests in the Talisman areas but

we will notify them of this situation, others should as well.

Everyone needs to be able to check the caclulation of decimal interest before signing decimal orders.

Melissa.

Lets all email DCNR as well. DEP I guess too.

Division orders not decimal orders, hump.
