If it is a non-producing well, Why is PDC still leasing all the surrounding ground that they can get their hands on?

Third hand info.......something wrong with fracking work.....heard it was fixable.....again third hand info................ also core samples looked good........again third hand info.......gw

Maybe email the board of PDC and ask them?  The question was -

"Has anyone heard any information about what this well is putting out in production numbers?"
The production number right now, today, is 0.  It doesn't get any simpler than that.  I'm looking out my back window at the spot in question, and all that's out there is fracking tanks, a small portable pop up rig, some porta pottys, and a mound of top soil. Oh, and the torch that they were planning to light and the stuff with that.  There's noone here, there hasn't been for a few days now.  Hearsay is a great thing though, it has our "well" producing enough to fill 3 trucks a day, producing enough to keep the nearbye plant going, etc... but YES the core sample came back looking good.  Yep there's sand in the hole, something went wrong, it might be fixable, drilling is a gamble and things go right & wrong.. it just depends on what a Company is willing to put money into and how much money.  There's still a lot of options.  I figure the more money they have to spend to bring a well in, along with the amount they're estimating that well to produce so they can get their money back, weighs in for what they're willing to pay out in lease money?  I guess any info they want to share will be made public.

Teri

I was not casting doubt on your information and I apologize if it sounded that way. I was just thinking out loud. As always, any information is greatly appreciated.

when was it fracked?

It was fracked the first of July because the frack crew was trying to get everything pulled out that they could before the Holiday of July 4th.

Teri, any undates on the status of the 1st Morgan County well ?....... Many thanks in advance.....

Some trucks came in today and took out some frack tanks, they removed all their generators and heard they were getting ready to pull into Airport Road!  Franks coming tonight to discuss getting our cows back home before they calve ..... but still a lot of speculation on things.

Teri,

What do you mean by "pull into Airport Road"?

Do you mean, "Leaving completely"  or going to another location on "Airport Road"?

They're drilling on Airport Road and should be getting started in a few weeks to a month. When they got the well in Guernsey county underway and all that, the Kidd well is their next stop to set up.

Teri,

Teri, Is this "Airport Road " in Morgan County or other County?....Thanks
