I have not heard a word about this well. XTO suggest earlier this summer that the rig on the pad was only drilling the vertical holes and that a larger rig was needed to drill the horz holes, before the end of summer. I would expect the larger rig would show up soon. Has anyone noticed any gathering pipe lines being installed? Pultney is lacking infrastructure.

The ODNR reports that XTO has pulled a permit to the  west north west 3 mi. of this location, Cook. Not the direction I was hoping for.

"pulled a permit" so going to drill or now NOT going to drill?    Do you mean you wished it was closer to you?   I looked on the county auditor site and there is a Cook at 54111 Key Bellaire Road (Route 147) so is there where you are talking about?   You cannot be too far from us....

"Lacking infrastructure" in an understatement!

Pulled a permit, means they have a permit to drill. I beleive they will drill.

the Cook site in just south (1/4 mi.) Glencoe, route 149.

I'm off winding hill by the Davis cemetery.

Are you right there at that corner where the access road is to the Kaldor well?   Nice farmhouse?    I'm the one that plastered the area two years ago in the winter when my German Shepherd dog vanished.  I'm willing to bet you got a flyer from me.  ;)

Oh, NOW I know - wrong cemetery.   I go by there several times a week.

Nope - I suspect a neighbor's son or grandkid shot or killed him.  I was very ticked off; the dog got lost in our woods during that really bad February 2010 snowstorm; it was a good dog, knew German commands and had done some basic Schutzhund work; was my 6 yr old son's best buddy.  I had no concern leaving him in the front yard alone with that dog!   They'd play ball for hours; that dog would have eaten anyone that tried to grab my son.
