What happened to the Hess lease offer? looks like it was deleted all over the site.

Was this all a joke? Seems like a check of a presentation for a joke.

Either it was a joke or people were asking too many questions that they didn't want to answer.   Seller beware!!!!!!

Smells funny. Funny like a lawsuit for using their name without permission. Same name with a different address.

I deleted It i posted it, I am a member of the group, Our Attorneys didn't do their jobs and brought the group a deal from suppossedly a broker who lied & said he was affiliated with & authorized to lease & negotiate mineral rights leases for Hess, The Attorneys never checked him out or got letters of Authority! They brought a deal to the group that they now claim was backed by a group of investers and the broker was lied to when he was hired! The bottom line is the Attorneys were hired to protect the landowners & they were neglegent & blew it. Their excuse we were rushing to get you a deal.

Sad to hear that for the group.

If it sounds too good to be true...

Did the signing meeting happen?  I hope a lot of people didn't take time out of their lives to go to the signing, only to get shut down.

This industry is insane, isn't it?

And please, don't blame the industry.  The real Hess, or any real oil and gas company, had nothing to do with this.  It's just greed.  Greed by the law firm, greed by the people who brought the fake deal to them.

No, I just mean the whole thing - the legit companies who are gambling with billions, the shysters who are out to steal everything they can, the landowners who are all convinced they are the next millionaire, the attorneys who are acting like drunken ringleaders in the world's most expensive circus, just all of it.  Insanity.  Exciting insanity, but still crazy.  Watching it unfold is giving me whiplash.

Thanks Anastasia I'm sure the landowners that were disappointed here that hired Oil & Gas Attorneys to represent them that were the experts in order to protect them really appreciate your Sarcasm.

On another note I would like to thank the poster that caught that address on the lease & posted not once but twice, That got me checking & found the address was a Drs office, Called the Dr Office & found  No Hess in the building then called a land service in the same area & they verified Hess was not in the area at all, then thru a friend reached out to contacts in the business who investigated & contacted Hess directly and were told it was not Hess, How hard would that have been for those expert oil & gas Attorneys?

Again thank You I deleted the posts as soon as I was sure it was a fraud & don't remember your name, without that we would have had another ILG wasting time signing leases & sitting for 6 months waiting and probably end up with clouds on our titles & paying attorneys to get released and in the meantime could miss out on a real deal!

I think that was me - and you're welcome!  I have to say, I'm more than a little disgusted by the attorneys in this case.  It seems like since the "shale boom" hit, every attorney is an expert in oil & gas, even if they've never seen a lease before!  While I agree that landowners need an advocate in negotiating lease terms, it sickens me that the attorneys will pull crap like this - and at the same time, have a dozen ads out about how the oil & gas companies will rip you off.

I'm just glad that nobody actually signed that lease.

Yes Lost in the shuffle you set off the 1st alarm, I agree with every word you just said! Thanks Again!

It's obvious the attorneys new it was a fraud the whole time. Waiting to see what Hess's attorneys will do. Its feeding time!
