I would highly recommend for everyone to file a complaint with the better business bureau against Adapt Energy.  They were the front company that sign all the leases in venango co. for Halcon energy.  I have contacted Adapt Energy numerous times to remove the oil and gas memorandum they place on my property title at the court house on July 10, 2012, but they continue to ignore me.  So, I can't negotiate with any other oil and gas companies and Adapt hasn't paid me a red cent.  It is really simple file the complaint the website I used was www.dallas.bbb.org

If you need any info on adapt to fill out the form you can find it at http://www.adapt-energy.com/our_team.html

I have noticed Shane Allison's email does not appear to be working but the other two are working.

I would really like to know if anyone else out there is have the same problem and how they got it resolve.  That for everyone's help.

Well what do you know.  Adapt energy sent me a e-mail stating that a release of lease would be filed by the end of the week.   It was sent by, Trey Holotik, a name I have not heard of.  He stated he was forwarded an email I had sent.  In case anyone needs to contact him  he gave his phone, (785) 218- 1616. I will update everyone when the release has been file.  I would still like to here from anyone who has had similar problems.

Have you received a release yet? Or was one filed at the courthouse?

Well, first Adapt sent me a B.S. email saying that since I signed through a lawyer group that the release had been sent to the lawyer.  However, they had never received a release letter.  Another stall tactic.   But I had filed a complaint with the better business bureau in dallas and within days they contacted Adapt and I had my release letters and voided contacts the next week.  The only problem is that Adapt never filed them at the courthouse.  So I had to pay out of pocket $61.50 to file them.   It was $20.50 to file one release and I have 3 parcells of property in Venango.   I have learned an expensive and time consuming lesson.  In the future if I ever sigh another lease it will contain a provision that say the company can not file any attachments/memos on my title until I am paid and they will be responsible for all filling fees including filing the release letter.
