Royalties, is anyone happy with their lease and royalties?

Befor I lease my land I would like to hear that someone has leased their land and are Happy with the outcome. every post I read seems to be negitive, as to their Royalites and lease terms.

I think it is all on who you lease with.  I am leased with two different drillers on 2 different parsels.  The wording on my leases is exactly the same.  One company has made me lots of money at about 251 dollars per acre.  They take out only a fee for marketing the gas.   The other, a much bigger company, takes out every thing and in the end I get 20 dollars per acre.  It is all how they perceive what they can have you pay for and in PA there are no set perameters for this.  Some companies work with the land owner and some don't, and I am afraid there are more that don't.   Hope this helped.
