Does anyone know if there are any companies out there signing, or any landowner groups still getting together in the Central Mercer County area? I only have the 1.8 acres my house sits on, so I assume my only option is to sign on with a group of landowners, but I have been totally in the dark as to whats been going on for the last few years. Can I even get anything? Im obviously not trying to get rich, but would like to get whatever I can, if anything. ANY HELP APPRECIATED, PLEASE! Thank-you.

Excellent advice for all of us.. I agree 100% with what you have said, but occasionally forget and need to be need to be reminded. Thank you!
what township and towards what corner of said township?
Four choices hilcorp,chevron,shell,halcon.
Yeah, Im following along on the involved companies for the most part. Im in Fairview Township, NW edge. Im actually not too far at all from the drilling pad going in on Stoneboro Rd. - I believe that one is a Shell site? Anyway, just didn't want to miss the boat. I have a good friend who lives a few miles away who actually signed on w/ Hillcorp - he said he was very happy with the deal and the contract he recieved, but unlike me, he has some real acreage involved. I wasn't sure if I should try to contact someone, or who, or what. Didn't think with less than 2 acres that anyone would be contacting me...
Thank you very much for the info. I feel a lot better about it now. Was just worried that, being such a small landowner, if I didn't contact someone and look for a contract, that I could possibly miss the boat all together. Im not in any kind of a hurry, just didn't want to miss out.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
