Do know if the landowners south of 70 are happy with their royalty checks so far?

 I havent really heard if their checks are good or bad, just heard that people are finally receiving them, I wonder what pads their getting their checks from? and if they are taking out all those deductions I have heard so much about.

 I'm glad people from Ohio Co, are finally responding on this site, because I really like to hear what is going on in Wv, and not Ohio and Penn. Thanks for answering.

Exactly, me too!  Although I'm in Hancock County and have been HBP'ed with an old lease so I would like to get ahead in the game and see what to expect in my home state!

Something very important for you guys:

Read the post in Marshall County concerning what CHK is doing with the Division Orders!  DO NOT sign the Division Order.  According to folks in Marshall County, CHK is changing your old 1/8 royalty at the wellhead which is legally GROSS in WV to NET (deducting production costs) on the DIVISION ORDER!!

 I did read about Marshall co,and I am aware of the angles CHK is tying to pull, I haven't received any Division orders yet, but believe me, I will be on top of it, that's why I'm on this site, trying to learn everything I can, so I"m prepared and not surprised.

WE have an interest in th Glauser pad, and the Gantzer pads, have not received a dime in royalties yet.  Per Chesapeake they are working on the Division orders. Chesapeake says it takes 6 to 7 months to prepare paperwork to send to owners before they can cut the royalty checks.

WOW! really I had heard 4 to 5 months, now I'm bummed. was hoping to see something this may, I was told people where getting paid on the Gantzer well, I was told early leases get paid first. that their getting around 500.00 acre on the Gantzer, and only 50.00 acre on the Debra Craig well, I don't know why there is such a big difference.

I was also told it took 5-6 months as per okla. on thur, the big difference is the amount of gases and oil they are getting, every well pad is different. You would think they could have all this done sooner just other excuse to hold off paying until they have to.

Gantzer has at least 2 active wells and Craig has one active well per the WVDEP website.  I wouldn't think there would be a ten fold difference in price per acre per month with wells in close proximity.  Most likely, the difference is due to the Deborah Craig well being choked back.  Although, the Deborah Craig well looks like its producing a lot!
