quite an interesting map of bradford. And if you dont mind how do you know the lay out of the units? dep?  and also how do you color in the google map?  maybe ill start something like this in mercer county.

When the gas comapny establishes the unit , they record a map of the unit at the courthouse. In Bradford Co. this map is available online through Landex. However, In Mercer you would have to obtain it through the recorder's office.

This is then transfered to Google Earth.

how does the transfer take place, or is landex using google earth also?

You adjust GE to the same scale as the map and transfer using a ruler and divider using roads, etc.  You could also try to find a county tax parcel map which is what the gas companies use. This would show all the property lines as on the map and makes it much easier to transfer. I was fortunate in that someone saw what I was trying to do and supplied me with a tax parcel map for Bradford. A lot of people on these forums are willing to help.

Here is an example of a map as recorded.
