Sullivan County Gas Well Map

I thought I would share a new website which shows gas well sites for Sullivan County.  It is run by the Sullivan County Office of Planning and Development.

It is suppose to be updated every month or so.

Just wondering if anyone has been approached by Exco for renewal? What royalty percentage is being offered and signing per acre?

Last week Exco offered $500.00/acre w/same royalty (15%) as 5 years ago. How about you?

I don't have a lease with them but mine is expiring in May with CHK  I'm in Davidison Township and Exco is the only one around me so I gave them a call to see if they might be interested at this time they are not but she did tell me to try again in May, She did say to me that they have leases that are  expiring soon and some they are not going to sign again. I suppose it depends where you are at and also what the price of nat gas is with it being this low and they are saying it is going to stay low for awhile the company is in no big hurry. Joe where are you located in Sullivan

I have been tracking permits in Sullivan county for 3 years and yes they have begun drilling a well at Elk Run. I'm keeping my eyes open for any developments. If you look at the new map that Jeff just put up you will see they have a spud mark by one well so now it is wait and see. Keeping my fingers crossed as I'm just 3 miles west of Elk Run ;-)

Any idea why this map doesn't show the Marquardt unit, which was filed over two years ago.
