You're not out, with all the drilling going on in your area it's just a matter of time until you are in a unit. All this drilling is still in it's early stages. They will be drilling new wells for decades.
It is possible they could reconfigure the Ceaser Unit in a way to include your parcel, but it seems unlikely given your location. Hopefully REX will create another unit east of the Ceaser Unit that includes your parcel.
Just a little over a mile south of you are the Plesniak East & West Units, I attached the well plats for those.

MarkWest submitted for a permit authorization for the Ceaser to Plesniak Pipeline.

Many water tanks were moved into the site last week, also brine tanks are being installed and fresh dirt work is on going as of Friday. I guess they are setting up to start the frac on these wells soon.
Additionally, a land man from MarkWest stopped at my place the other day to discuss pipeline ROW routing. It seems that they are trying to connect the Ceasar well to something running north towards Portersville. Not sure?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
