GARY  we are located very close to the proposed blasco unit off of anderson-hozak road right outside of frankfort springs 2000 bonus 17% net gary, does the language of your lease state they got any sort of grace period even after calender date of lease expires ? We wanted to stay with range simply because they're the big boy on the block we passed on CHK lease last year 3150 vs.2500range because we wanted to be in the unit figured that with us having a small parcel of property BUT alas the deal fell through last year and we came to terms a little while a go (may 22)  the figures we got WHERE higher than the ones stated above they actually started at 500 a acre yeah no kidding went to 700 an acre then all the games started months of calls talking/ phone calls /talking etc etc etc we did not talk to anyone else because of the reason stated above Now just to make it interesting I have found out that chances are good PRICE GREGORY will be pulling out sometime in mid june they were supposed to be a major player in the construction of the mariner west pipeline the info I got is they bare boned there bid to get the work and mark west crapped in there wheaties so price gregory is SUPPOSED to take there toys and go home a couple of inspectors I met have already shipped out what that means I have no idea who is replacing them but time will tell one way or another keep you posted the wells proposed are in the frankfurt springs area and this just happened within a month or so ago QUICK NOTE TO JASON YOUR BUDDY IN AVELLA SMART GUY I LIKE IT KIND OF SHOWS YOU THE QUALITY OF THERE WORKERS DOES'NT IT let you guys know if anything else develops HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY to everyone got to go get ready to burn some burgers and whatnot mark

I went to a meeting last night at the Hookstown VFD held by Gatto and Reitz law firm and he said that they believe that Range is buying the CHK leases south of the Ohio river in Beaver county...They said the offers are 2,000.00 and  2,500.00 an acre and 17 % for land they are leasing now...anyone have any news on things going on in Beaver county?

I have heard an unconfirmed rumor that Range is paying Seitel to shoot the 3D seismic that they are now mapping out. A friend who works for Chevron told me it was happening back in June but I've not seen anything concrete yet. The shoot Seitel is preparing is for Independence, Raccoon and Hanover Twp, all but Hanover is really Range's territory.
Wait and see right now Gary. And that number you threw out for acreage is what I've heard the going rate is.

Mark - the first guy I met was the mapping guy named Bill who works for DAS (parent co of Seitel). As of now he told me we will begin to see surveyors within the next few weeks (probably Sept 1). After the surveyors they bring in the little geophones and drill the 4"x30' deep pilot holes. There was still a lot of red on his map (owners still not signed with Seitel) around my farm near Hardins Run and 168.
When I signed - I requested 24 hours notice before they come on my farm due to livestock and gates. Ill update you all when I hear/see surveyors.
He did say they want to shoot it this fall.

gary YEAH WE WHERE GOING TO THE MEETING DIDN'T MAKE IT JUST TO SEE WHATS SHAKING IN THE AREA MY BROTHER TOLD ME THAT THEY (G&R) JUST SIGNED A SMALL LANDOWNERS GROUP OUT ON PURDY ROAD(WASHINGTON COUNTY)  TO RANGE I BELIEVE 3500 AN ACRE PERCENTAGE UNKNOWN SURFACE LEASES I BELIEVE MY BROTHER ACTUALLY LOOKED AT ONE LEASE MULTIPLE ADDENDA MAN WAS PLEASED WITH RESULT RANGE IS THE BIG BOY ON THE BLOCK THESE OTHER COMPANIES WILL PROBLEY FLIP THERE LEASES TO RANGE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DIABLO WELL IS STARTING  LOCATED NEAR INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 30 AND FRANKFORT/ CLINTON ROAD ABOUT 1 MILE IN HAVN'T BEEN THERE YET DID THE GUNNERS (G&R) PROVIDE ANY MORE INFORMATION? I KNOW THAT THAT WELL IS IN ALL. He said this area is going to get busy in the next few years..Said he felt the Shell Cracker is a done deal and will anounce it closer to the elections..he did not know  if Hancock county is involved with the sale of the leases...Price for the leases bought by RRC to be about $4,000.00 acre..He said the farther you are from the Noss well the lower the offer..they want 5% of bonus for their efforts...Upper devonian is very good in this area..(Todd they must have post on the UD,lol...)

Gary,
In addition to the one UD Rhinestreet well in Hancock, CHK has 8 more UD Rhinestreet wells in western Beaver County parallel directly on top of Utica wells. I'm hearing and seeing that the UD and Utica are the main targets in all of western Beaver County (primarily the Utica) and the further east and south that you move, the Marcellus and UD are the target (primarily the Marcellus).
I hope that Range acquires Hancock but they have not been operating in WV. Furthermore, Range sold their panhandle WV leases to CHK in 2011.
Northeast Beaver County may see the UD as a primary target per Rex UD Burkett wells in SW Butler County. The Rex UD Burkett wells in Butler are better than the Marcellus in that location.

I just noticed that CHK sold 72 percent interest in leases in beaver county to  ohio buckeye ? beaver county recorder of deeds page 63 on 8-30-2013 (mine included) very large list of leases
