Has anyone purchased Instrument #201201469 from Landex? It is a Lease Assignment to Ecorp Resource Partner I LP from many landowners in Sullivan and Bradford Counties. Our original lease with Chief O&G expires in a month and I was wondering if anyone had the contact information for Ecorp Resource Partners. I would like to prepare a letter to send them requesting surrender of their lease.

Ecorp received an interest from Chief, then it appears Ecorp conveyed the interest to MKR Holding and reserved an overriding royalty interest. The instrument you referenced confirms the chain of title for the override and appears to be administrative housekeeping.

Permalink Reply by Jeff Ottaviano on June 4, 2013 at 12:28am I have received an amendment from Chief O&G to my original lease that extends the term an additional 5 years. If anyone who was originally in the Bradford/Sullivan Landowner's Group has also received this amendment, let me know. I plan to contact Lester Greevy today for council.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale.
