Not hearing much about Halcon, how are they doing in Trumbull and Mahoning counties?

Yeah, I got my badge of dishonor on the warning wall for being a little offended by a lunatic woman who no longer posts here. My literary style is less finesse and more inspired by authors who shaped me during my formative years. I acknowledge that it can be a little forward but I find it very difficult to filter things and make them sounds, shall we say, friendly.
Halcon Resources Announces Public Offering of $300M Perpetual Conve......
Easy, MJ - when it comes to Marcus - you just need to take the good with the bad & the ugly - blue suede shoes & all...just figure when the 'bold & crass' comes round - he had a bad day is all.... That said, Marcus - this IS quite interesting...I don't follow HK. Plus - he probably doesn't deal well with the dribble (mine especially!)...go on now...
Came from Halcon and 300mm - Go Marcellus & Utica Shale: Leasing, Drillin......interesting to interpret...raising cash - why?...acquisitions? or to go belly up?...what gives??? Come on, hoss (Grayson) - you got the ball - how's it bounce? you're position - shorting?...
...This IS quite ... interesting? - shall we say...
As one light lights another, nor grows less - so nobleness enkindles nobleness. HK? Who is John Galt?
Bought HK @ $5.40 and $5.32. Sold half @ $5.67, other half @ $5.74.
Will get back in if it drops below $5.50.
It's long in the sense that it's not short. I'm a trader. Buy and hold is dead for the most part. I'll be happy to profit off of the 4-5% fluctuations all day long. My loyalty isn't to a company but my bank account. I owe nothing to Halcon and they nothing to me.
How long does anyone think it will take for a company to put any type of well in western Trumbull County such as Mespo? I know that wells are going in not to far away such as Mecca, Bristolville area. Just wondering what the general thoughts are as to when it will really move west?
Depends on how the acreage is blocked up on a company by company basis out there. Halcon looks like they're focusing on areas south and east of you right now. BP has leases all over, so they're maybe your best bet to see results within the next 12-18 months. But that's just a hunch.
In today's Ashtabula Star Beacon. "First shale well to be drilled in Ashtabula County next month." http://starbeacon.com/local/x1885645960/First-shale-well-to-be-dril...
There is a BP pad being built right now in southern Farmington just east of 534.
Joe - can you provide some more detail on the Farmington well. Would like to drive by it.
Its being built on housel craft rd. about a half mile from 534 just east of the bridge.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
