I noticed when looking at the East entries in the DEP Production spreadsheet that a well was "missing".  Turned out that it and several other East wells in Jackson Twp. now have Talisman listed as the operator (in the spreadsheet and eFacts)

Talisman is in charge of the pipelines for East. These companies work together. Sandy
I did go through eFacts later and found 14 wells in Jackson Twp where East had been the initial operator and now Talisman is listed as the operator. Wonder if the joint venture arrangement will continue with Shell or if it's being wound down.
Most likely East put up the cost for the drilling end of this and Talisman is handling the operations. Talisman has it's own network of pipelines just north of Jackson in NY.

East and Talisman do have a JV. Basically they owned the leases and instead of one company selling out to the other they split the cost and operations.
They did work together on TBR wells. Iirc the dry hole in Pine City was a Fortuna lease, drilled by East. Then Talisman supposedly got rid of their non-core holdings to concentrate on bigger fish like their DCNR leases, Friendsville, etc. I'd think it would more likely that Talisman put up most of the money. But maybe not.
