Allegheny County

Anyone have any info about potential drilling and/or lease resigning activity in Allegheny County, PA?  I am a small landowner with 60 acres under lease to Chessapeake Energy, with the lease expiring in a few months.

The only company I know about that is leasing Allegheny county is Consol. They have leases at Pittsburgh airport.

Thanks, ... I have heard about activity near airport over on the west side of Allegheny County. However, I am located on the east side of the country only about 300 yards from the Westmoreland County line.

Not sure where you are - but today Range was granted additional dep permits for a new well in the Clinton area. It's called the Seibel unit.

Chesapeake is out of cash and unloading their leases. Best of luck.

I know someone (eqt) is drilling in Forward township near Triple B Farms.
And Williams has activity in Westmoreland County. You might want to try the Allegheny County group on the GMS site.

Chesapeake sold the majority of their leases, and all of their Allegheny Co. leases, to EQT back in May, 2013.

More likely than not, your lease will run its course and expire.
