Could someone please tell me if there some way to get production information in between reporting periods to the PA DEP?  I have interest in a well that was fracked early this year but the DEP site is showing no production for the first half of the year. I am curious if I have to wait until January or is there somewhere else that I can look to see when production begins.

Thanks so much.

Thank you so much. Can you tell me where you get the information from?

Do I have to wait until January of next year to find out about production between July and the end of the year or is there a way somewhere else to see if a well has started producing after June?

I don't believe there is any other way unless you start receiving royalties. Otherwise you will have to wait until next year unfortunately.

Is there an average amount of time between when a well is fracked and when it starts producing?

If the pipeline is already there and not a issue, they normally rest the well after the frack for 60 +\- days. Depending on company checks will start 2-3 months after first production. I have seen wells that sat for 1 year after frack even with pipeline, though this is not the norm.

Thank you all for your replies. I still have a lot to learn and you have been very helpful. Just trying to stay informed as possible as we live out of state.
