I'm wondering how the new lease pooling law will affect me. Right now I have 3 properties with CHK leases signed 5 years ago. None of the entire properties are completely covered by the units. I hope the new law will enable them to make the units bigger so they dont have to build anymore pads and cover all my land. Any input on this?
I think that is one reason you see a lot of amended units. My inlaws were between the Way south and Polomski units. It looked like there was enough room to drill other wells. CHK amended both units and all of the property in between those two units ended up in one or the other.
