I SEEN ON THE NET ONE TIME A LANDOWNER WAS RECEIVING 1 DOLLAR PER BARRELL =52 GALLON SO ABOUT 2 CENTS A GALLON =200 DOLLAR PER THOUSAND GALLON....NOT A BAD RETURN ON YOUR WATER IF I MAY SAY SO
A barrel is 42 gallons.
OIL IS 42 Water is 55 gallons to a barrel sorry i said 52 meant 55 .....42 is just raw crude oil and i also said 200 a thousand and should have been 20.00 a thousand
most of the recordings I've seen online, bp has been paying 3.00 per thousand. In my own research the number I have been coming up with the value should be around 6.00.
u should get atleast 1 cent a gallon that be 10.00 a thousand
That's a tough price to get, depending of who you deal with. I've heard of large volume suppliers getting $.002/gal which is very low but ultimately all that the company (in this case CHK) was willing to pay.
you're right, I've been told by folks in both Texas and pa to settle for nothing less than 10 or 12 but so far anyone who gets offered anything is taking it. If you don't have to deal with any type of permanent structure I still wouldn't want to settle for any less than 6
they will be needing water for atleast the next 20 years they have allotta wells to drill ......makes u want to build some ponds lol and drill some water wells
You would be well advised to do some homework. Try to find out what the local sellers of water get for their product.
If your water is close to the completion activity and trucking can be eliminated or minimized, that is a cost savings for the oil company.
Water pipelines can be laid rather easily on top of the ground to connect multiple water sources in one area.
They gotta buy water from someone, who can offer the best value?
this is not what's on line ....this is what they are paying I know this for a fact . you should get no less than $4 to $5 per thousands ...most communities have agree to $5.00 per thousands .If you get more count it a Blessing ...42 gallons per barrel ...I know there is a lot of things flowing out there ....been doing this for 3 years and I have talked to them personally . Here is something to chew on they are hauling from Caldwell Ohio to a pad around Cadiz ...now does that make sense ?
its $4 to $ 5 per thousands gallons if I bought 1 million gallon of water from you ...you would receive $5 thousands dollars...now it takes around 7 millions gallons of water to frack a well ....If they drew that amount out of your pond you would received $25 thousands or $35 thousands ...take this in for a fact ..if its for a pad that your pond may be around , most likely they would draw it out with a flat over land piping like they use fire departments ...if not than a manifold would be put in place for the trucks .

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
