In 1886 the Geologists said.. "there is more oil/gas in Guernsey county then the WORLD can use"
That was in 1886....
couldn't get it tho..was in the Shale.. this has been known for over 125 years !!

I don't catch em all.. so far today 6 I saw..im sure there were more...
these things look to be 40 foot long easy....probably more.. as the average semi trailer is 53 foot.. so im guessing at 40 foot...
all have HAZERDOUS WARNING SIGN back and sides....
You sure the tankers are not hauling out flow back?
Well you got a point there.. I guess flowback would be flammable....
they have separators on site.. and storage tanks for oil....
Ill go stop the next truck and ask the driver .
I do know they are piping Gas to a dominion line.. so if they have the Gas separated
I would think they have the OIL.. in the tanks....?
Im not up on all that goes on....so would "flowback" be whats left
after separating the Oil from the GAS ?
I will dig into this further....
I shoulda checked with my "spy" :)
They do have "brine" trucks going out all day also....
Maroon trucks.. smaller tanks...with no "flammable" signs on em...
thanks, Mike
Flow back can include oil and it will be marketed. Water hauling trucks are required to be marked with FRESH WATER or WASTE WATER so you should be able to see that on the side and I have not see any with flammable sign on them. The water is separated from product. Any news west of 77 is good news. We have property even further west and are anxious to see some signs of activity and good results out there!
SO DID U GET A NUMBER OFF THE TRUCKS UR SEEING ........IF IT IS OIL IT BE AROUND 165 BARRELS PER 18 WHEELER 100 BARREL PER STRAIGHT TRUCK LOOKING FOR 1267 ON PLACARD FOR CRUDE OIL
I did some quick googling to see that a large tanker is 9100 gallons which converts to 288 barrels.
216 barrels on one truck times TEN....is a lot of oil....
now I can try and see how often they do this......
Even twice a week would be great.....

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
