Just curious...
I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

About these 1X vertical unconventional wells. Are they "we're taking a look" wells? What's the difference between what SWEPI is now naming as 1X and 1V we;;s?
Permalink Reply by paleface on December 5, 2013 at 1:13pm Ann I don't know maybe someone could help us with that.
Permalink Reply by paleface on December 6, 2013 at 3:08am The only info I can get on the X is its a designation by Shell not the DEP also the Costanzo 818X is a Marcellus well.
Permalink Reply by Ann Ticopa on December 6, 2013 at 5:00am Thanks for checking. It looks like SWEPI is now using 2_H for the deeper wells. (The DEP losts them as "No" in the Unconventional column in the permits reports.)
Like it wasn't confusing enugh already.

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
