We are much the same as you Donna and have 103 acres in Center Twp. with several Shell (purchased by AEP) parcels adjoining to the north, south and the southwest, along with Gulfport adjoining to the east.  It looks like your property may be about a mile northwest of ours.  We tried a couple of responses to AEP due to their ad but received nothing back from them at all. 

We went with Landowners Leasing Group (LLG) for representation ( http://www.landownersleasinggroup.com ) and are going to see if they can have better success in coming up with something.  According to the news section on their website, they're planning on having some more meetings coming up.  They also have a phone number for contact on their website.  My wife and son went to one of their meetings a while back (I had to work and couldn't go) and were quite impressed with their presentation and the representation they bring to the table.

There seems to be a lot of upcoming activity in Guernsey County so hopefully that will include our area too.  At the meeting LLG had at Salt Fork Lodge, they seemed to be quite optimistic for leasing in the area and were reassuring that the landowners who have not leased have not missed the boat.  They also stated that the more landowners in the group, that the greater negotiating ability they will have to obtain a better lease when they work with the oil & gas companies.  It might not hurt to give them a call and it shouldn't be too much longer until they have assembled the group of parcels together to work on leasing.  The paperwork we signed was for their representation for about 6 months.
