Anyone know how to contact Shell. The number I have is continually busy.

FYI......Shell has severely reduced its staff, and from what heard yesterday, they are pulling out of onshore operations entirely, and placing their focus entirely on what they know and do best - offshore operations.  Don't be surprised that by the middle to end of this year, Shell sells all of their acreage in PA to someone like REX or Chevron.

I wish they would either get busy drilling and or sell.  I'm in the middle of a buch of Shell leased ground and was/should of been leased with them myself.  Pulled out 4 days before end of 90 day lease/payment.  Never saw a dime.  Big name with big promises that have yet amounted to zilch. Wonder whats to come of the plant they were to build in Western Pa?

They seem to be making a presence in Mercer County, visiting Lakeview Middle School and gave a grant to Mercer County 4-H . Engineers led me to believe that they would be a presence in Mercer County for a long time. To quote Mr Eiselstein, " watch what they do, not what they say!"

Watching is all most of us can really do.  Speculation is fun, but accomplishes nothing in the end.

In the long run it doesn't really matter what Shell does..The land holds the oil & gas and we own the land..Somebody will develop it. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Looks like Shell is acquiring acreage in Mercer county to "sweeten' the pot some more - larger the acreage position, the larger the pot of money to be had.

I received a check from Shell and a wondering if I should even try to renegotiate the lease

I don't know of Shell doing anything lately. I know Hilcorp has been active in the area, but Shell is non existing over the past few months that I'm aware of.

I would not be discouraged by little or no action from Shell, they move slow at first trying to figure the best way to develop and produce an area it can take a while but in the end they seem to get the most bang for there buck.
