our per acre take vary from a high in June 13 at 183.00 per acre to a low in Oct 2013
at 86 per acre. Decimal for chk is.07784728 and for statoil is.07894098. not all landowners in our unit have statoil as owner and some have more than 2 owners.
I'm also in Stevenville, Pa. Well went on line May 23, 2013. I have been looking for division orders every time I went to the mailbox. On Dec 27, 2013 I received a royalty check, no division orders yet. The check was for end of May, June, July, Aug, Sept, and Oct. The well started out at 5.7mmcf/day and has gradually increased to 7.98mmcf/day in Oct. We averaged about 215.00/acre/month net over the 5.3 months. The volume went up but the price went down. There drilling the second well very soon. I was very happy when Chesapeake sold our rights To SWN in 2011.
Thanks Kevin,
Sounds like a successful well for sure. Congratulations on that. What is your royalty percent on that and how many acres are in your unit?
Any idea what the IP - 24 hour test rate was on that well?
Thanks for your help,
Todd
And I take it that that's 18% gross with no deductions?
Todd;
the reason for the big drop in price per acre was because of the price per mcf, the volume stayed almost the same for the 5 months but the price of gas per mcf went from 4.18 in June down to 1.89 in Oct..
Around 6 months to get division order from CHK. You have to call them and keep after them
Who, and where, did you call? It appears that most of the local Athens personnel have left! I tried to contact the last "known" person the other day and she has now left. I'd appreciate any help and information you can give me. Thanks.
The most knowledgable person I've dealt with at CHK was LORI at their main office. She answered all of my questions. Phone # 4059357965 Its been awhile, hope she's still there.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
