Isn't there also a well pad planned for black road down towards where it intersects w/518? So maybe running down black road, McCormick Run Road and over 518 to the Rosebud pipeline - based on a (long ago) conversation with a land owner near Rosebud, they're using an existing pipe ROW and putting in a new pipe for Rosebud pad along that ridge line running parallel to 518. That pipe comes (will come?) down to McCormick Run Road on that side of 518.
On SR164 at the top of the hill just before the Wayne Township Garage on the east side of the road in December 2012 there was a Survey Crew from PA doing survey work for a pad. At least that is what they said when I spoke with them. They said they were just hired to do the survey work but didn't know when the pad was going to show up.
Also, Ohio Edison has been working on running 3-phase 480 volt power down SR164. The work has been going on for at least the last six (6) months. I ask men on the Edison Crew how far down SR164 they were going to run the lines. They said their work order indicated that they were to install poles and run power lines stopping at about the top of the hill, on the west side of the road where the Survey Crew had been.
They use 3-phase 480 volts to run equipment on the pads when it is available.
If you get the pipe line to the Andrullis Pad, extending it over to SR164, the path could possibly cross Wayne Bridge.
Sunland Construction has been out this past week installing pipeline across SR518 in Franklin Twp.
An area of PA was heavily marked with pink flagging. In the end, they ran a set of pounder trucks through and tested at each ribbon. These ribbons were really noticeable and close to each other (maybe 50-100 feet apart). But, the company in PA didn't paint/mark any trees and didn't use any color other than pink for flagging.
Also, there's a water project that had been putting in pipes for public water/sewer. They may be working their way up to meet up with what was installed on the West Point end of 518?
I am seeing a lot of stakes with orange and pink ribbons along Trinity Church Road as you come off of Route 30. Wondering what those are for as well.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
