Seismic Testing? Valley Twp.

Just had a gentleman with TGS seismic testing stop by and wanted to set up an appointment to talk.  Something about wanting to go thru the property with a seismic testing outfit.  Not sure if he meant to actually go thru the property or along the road like I've seen them do in other locations.  I'm in Valley Twp.  Anyone else have any details about this operation, if it pays and how intrusive it is if?

I asked what they would be doing as the 25 acre tract is so dense you cannot walk thru. He told me was a 5 x10 caterpillar. If they could not get thru would just place phones to pick up from other charges. He said it was a 2.5 charge. Since Richland township is riddled with mines I voiced my concern. He said they were getting the mine info to look at. Also asked him about chances for Utica, he said 2d had already Been done and they usually call them in after. He said the sweet spot was Barnesville and we were only about 20 miles from our property.

Funny how Gulfport is the more active driller around Barnesville and Belmont County and he said he had never heard of them. Lots of Antero activity in Noble.
