Based on the location of the Dreher property (#1 lower right corner) and the unit's dimensions, it looks like all the horizontals will be going to the North West.
Always interesting to this stuff - thanks for posting.

Permalink Reply by J Landowner on April 11, 2014 at 9:13am Within the last 2 weeks, they pulled up the water line from the pond over by Koziks to the Dreher pad that was used when they fracked the wells. They cut the line up and stacked it neatly, probably awaiting pickup to the next jobsite. Within the past few days though, they have started to reassemble the line. Saw them digging the ditch to push it under Bonniebrook Rd. Can see them putting it together along the pipeline right of way from Portman. Maybe they have to refrack one or some of the wells?
Speaking of Kozik, they added a 5th large tank near the wells recently. Seems they are getting a good bit of oil so they needed a way to collect it. Will be interesting to see what deductions they try to take for the oil since there are none. Saw the truck picking it up, same guys that service the local shallow wells. So no transport charges can be added to that oil unlike their 100% deductions on gas liquids they have been getting away with.

Since we last talked, the Zackerl well has come to life. The second half 2013 production numbers from DEP look good as far a residual (methane) gas goes. Unfortunately, the DEP reports do not list the natural gas liquids except condensate. I’m curious how “wet” the Zackerl unit is. For example here are the average (2 wells) gross production numbers for the Marburger B unit in Forward Township for December 2013:
Residual gas = 66,327 Mcf per well average.
NGL = 150,420 gallons per well average (C3-C4).
Note: on the XTO check stub under PROPERTY NAME column then BBLS or MCF column, when liguids are listed in this column the unit is gallons not Barrels.
Could you share the gross numbers from the Zackerl well for December 2013? If you don’t want to publish those numbers here on the big forum but are willing to share them with me then “friend” me.
Best regards,
Phil

Phil, have no problem posting the numbers but since it is not related to this topic, I'll just send them to you. December was a lower month though not sure why.

Permalink Reply by Jon on April 16, 2014 at 11:26am Ok. Thanks. I've heard of some that are 200 acres too. They seem to be all over.
Hello all,
Anyone have any information on the Dreher B Unit Designation?

Dreher B Unit Designation has been recorded. I tried to upload the file but that function does not seem to work right now.

The uploader seems to be working now. The unit was recorded on 6/5/14.

I emailed the .tiff to John. His grandfather is in the B unit but papa couldn't find the declaration.
Keep in touch.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
