Baker Hughes To Disclose 100% Of Chemicals Used In "Frac Fluid"

The disclosure of frac chemicals has been a major bone of contention between the industry and anti shale groups.

The anti groups have claimed a loophole in the law (the halliburton loophole) has allowed companies to keep the chemicals secret. This was never true but this action by Baker Hughes should put this issue to rest. Except of course for the most radical extremists.

U.S.,

I was going to state that information about frac fluids has been available for quite some time, but finding it was a bit difficult. To have said this would have brought out the anti crowd.

Thanks for the link, just further proof there is no halliburton loophole.
