if you're considering a pipeline they will use that to lever you by saying they can get you into a production unit its all a game of chance IMHO

Proximity to a distribution line is a definite plus. On the subject....I was contacted by the new owner co. of the REX Line (rockies express) who wanted permission to survey my property for wetlands etc bec they are looking into putting in another line to run parallel with the existing REX line so would need another easement to accommodate.

Buckeye. What size is the Line? We had a 12 inch line run thru ours about 1 1/2 ago. I thought the same thing but no drilling yet. They said the line supply a processing plant and is max out. I'm not sure what to believe. We can't even find out if there is smell in the gas or not. Good luck and may all your wells blow their lids

mornin jason we tried  an addenda to ID whether aromatic or not and they couldn't accomidate us but a nephew works in the industry and said  it has a very distinctive smell coming from the well head like a greasy hydraulic oil/ kerosene smell.never mind the geyser I would assume would show itself scary stuff man can I ask  you who your mid-stream company is?  we are slated for 12" low-pressure line a paltry 1200 psi  GEEZ BY the way any royalties yet?

Anyone getting a royalty payment from a pipeline. Or just for drilling units.

Pipelines pay a one time payment by the linear foot for a right of way that will last the rest of your life.
