Seems this may be the last piece of the puzzle for the gathering lines. Funny it is called the Blackhawk gathering line as it is solely in South Beaver. Maybe it is the one connecting CTG and McDanel sites to the line that comes from Rolling Acres and Maga?
That's my guess anyhow.

Confirmed :
This is the line connecting Ctg and Mcdanel wells with the rolling acres line to the Thompson site.
craig, will this also be for maga and Roberts well?
I am told it is the leg from CTG + McDanel that joins the line that will be coming from rolling acres/maga and going to Thompson for processing. This particular line is all in South Beaver, so no it doesn't have anything to do with Roberts.
Will call you sometime when the dust settles.
Thanks for the info. I saw that permit pop up a few days ago and was puzzled thinking it might be for the Sunoco line they are putting in along Blackhawk road. Glad it's just for the few hundred yards from McDaniel to CTG.
I suppose they could get started on the line and come back to that area of the pipeline once the permit comes through. Not sure how long that takes. Probably pushes the construction back to late summer/fall if all permits are needed.
I haven't heard anything regarding the Roberts well other than a Utica gas services rep wanted to survey my place to possibly run the line over to Maga or Rolling Acres. Last I spoke with him he said he thought the plan for that line was done but wouldn't elaborate on which way the line was going. I'll ask again.
By the way, was a unit declared yet for the Roberts well?
Found the pooled Unit for Roberts. Was just wondering as I had a few acres nearby but the unit looks to have went southeast which makes the most sense. Also I found one pipeline ROW for that pad signed recorded as well so I would think it will be hooked up about the time as the Maga well. I will call Utica gas again but they normally won't say much. Worth a try.
I called Utica. Clueless as usual! ( they claim ). Oh well, they will survey it eventually and we'll know.
They're currently working on the pipeline around here. It goes from the Buzzard well off of Smith Ferry Road, across Tuscarawas, across Pleasantview, across Bieler's Run then connects to the Burdick well which is connection to the Thompson well. They're been doing a LOT of work preparing the pipeline. The pipes are far behind and seem to take much longer.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
