Eclipse may want to put a well pad on my place.  I am meeting with the guy next week.  In preparation for something like this, I went to an attorney 6 weeks ago so that I could introduce myself and have an attorney when I needed one. I gave him a copy of my lease, etc.  He seemed nice enough. So I called him yesterday to ask him what he thought the issues were that I absolutely needed to discuss with this guy. Well, he did not remember me, even after I gave him several good clues, and he said he did not know where my copy of the lease was. He also did not give me any answers. I think it's time to find another attorney. Does anyone know of a good attorney in the Cambridge area?

Also, I have a long list of questions prepared, but I am interested in what any of you would be asking him.

Find a good attorney. Experience. You have to go out of this area possible. I use one from Columbus Well worth it

So you are saying there isn't anybody in Cambridge.  There usually is nothing in Cambridge for all aspects of life. Sigh...

Dave Bennett .. Atty.... is VERY trustworthy.....

at the very least he will direct you to the right person...

He is our Atty...

Mike Fulper

Thanks!

No I'm not saying their isn't any good ones just that these next few months will affect the rest of your and your family's lives .  Not a thing you can screw up.  I finally went to a firm that has lots of experience with all aspects of oil and gas .  It has been well worth it the extra effort.  It's up to you in the end but like I said whoever you get better do it right if you know what I mean. Good luck.

Yes, I do know what you mean.  There can be no mistakes.

did you pay any money to retain him?

Where is the pad going to be?

I paid for the consultation and he said we could just go by the hour after that.

The pad would be in Londonderry Township.  If it doesn't happen on my place it will be somewhere in that area.
