Offer to Purchase Mineral Rights

Just curious, but I just received a letter from H&M Land and Mineral, Inc (newly formed company out of PA), to purchase my mineral rights for $8,000 per acre in belmont county.  I also talked with the landman and he said that he is focusing on the S-G area.

 

Has anyone else in the S-G group received a phone call or letter from them?  Just Curious.....kinda makes you think there might be something down there worth holding on to,

Smith-Goshen. As in the Smith-Goshen Landowners Group that signed somewhere between 30 and 40 thousand acres in Belmont County with Rice Energy about a year ago.

Primarily Smith and Goshen townships but Rice ended up taking leases in all areas of Belmont County.

Not until the producer applies for a permit from the state.
