Allow me to follow this question as I am new to navigating this site. My question is: I have 10 acres unleased in an area where most People have this amount of acreage or less. Most if not all my neighbors have been leased and paid however we got tied up with Antero who passed on the lease but never released our land from the legal aspect. It took my Wife calling many times over a two year period to get this release to happen and then she had to call Colorado. Gossip has it that a well is planned behind my property no more than 1/4 mile away. My concern is, if this happens where do I stand as having no one that had picked up my lease? It is my estimation that most of my neighbors cannot be drilled under without going under me since my 10 acres are 2 parcels and set at a zigzag angle to others property. If this question is appropriate I would appreciate any input or advice.

Not to my knowledge. I am waiting to talk to a friend who said He knows something in regards to the new well. I will wait and see I guess.
