Another year is upon us and we are all starving for information pertaining to the "gas biz" in our county.

Hilcorp appears to be poised for an extremely busy year.

Shell seems to be dragging it's feet for some reason , even though the Cracker appears likely to become a reality.

Hopefully more infrastructure projects will become known as the year unfolds.

Please share any news with us you may uncover over the course of the year.

Good luck to us all and may 2014 be the year that puts us on the map!

Lawrence is dry Utica, wet Marcellus.

Thanks Dexter. That'what I thought. Just wondering why Rex designates us as dry Utica and excluded wet Marcellus from that designation. I mean their presentation is for the benefit of investors so why not tout that benefit as well?
Also curious they mention possibility of joint venture......who might that be I wonder.,...?

Probably because the Marcellus isn't going to be the king in Lawrence county.  I think the Utica is going to blow minds once gas prices move to the right range.

Good enough for me! Lol. I just hope Rex is serious about developing all of these leaseholds. It sure would be nice to retire a little early. At 54 now and ain't getting younger! It is good to see discussion again about our county. Optimism may have been rekindled!
Lots of well tanks sitting at Charlie DeMarcs old junkyard property along beaver river below West Pittsburgh on Rt.168! Site was pretty empty for quite a while until now. Staging for some drilling by the looks of things.
Hi Trap! After talking to my Nieghbor I really think Rex is serious about drilling here. And they told him large amount of oil under our property! We don't believe that. they will say anything to get u to sign a new lease. But they said they really need his 15 acres for the unit! And had a map of all unleased property only a couple left! They want the well in by next summer. Hopefully! Time will tell. We guess Mcbride farm on mt. Air rd
That's not the first time I heard of oil out your way. Like I said lots of those big vertical tanks being staged @ DeMarc's. Can't imagine Shell walking away from oil though.
There are two like them @ the Patterson wells. Interesting array of what appear to be treater's between well heads and where gas actually goes into the TGP for sales. Tucked in over the hill where there is a roadway. Can't see that from the road. Wondering why no NGL's are being reported. Maybe it's brine?

I think we are going to like dealing with Rex.

Anyone in Western Lawrence County with unleased land been contacted lately about signing? What kind of offers?

Hi Brad! Where u located?

North beaver twp

I'm on wampum mt air rd and my two Nieghbors are talking to a Rex landman. They told him they want a gross royality no deductions clause and he said he will get back to them. Have you talked to anyone from Rex yet?
