Wow, I have been saying on here for two years that the only option landowners in NY have is to secede from the state and get out from under NY City Libs.  Seems that some towns in four counties have started looking into how to proceed, what the odds of success are, and what are the ramifications of such an action.  Wonder if they heard me?

I know the odds of doing so are very slim but perhaps pursuing that will get Albany's attention and get them some much deserved respite from the loonies that run that state.  (Amazing that Pa is considered a much better state! lol shows just how bad NY is)

I suspect that other towns from Steuben through Chautauqua County, NY would also be open to becoming a part of Pennsylvania.

Now if Pennsylvanians can secede from Philly, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg we will be in business.

Good point, Ragnars !! This Secession Interview mentions Western New York, too :-)

you  all best hold out a bit till we see what wolf and the rino's in pa do to us. no use going somewhere worse. although I know nothing worse than ny  corruption(silver, hope he brings the whole place down)   unless you go to d.c.

Upcoming formation of the rural State of PennYork ?? Capital in State College, PA., home to Rex Energy, Eclipse, and Terry Engelder. The first Governor being Lance Shaner, Lt. Governor Jack Young, and Dr. Engelder placed in charge of Resource Development. All 3 have deep ties to both New York & PA.

I assume penn York is cutting Pittsburgh and philly lose to fend for themselves. good idea, since Pittsburgh is in receivership and philly is approaching a pension meltdown.

Ha, awesome.

I know north cali is trying to do this for years the state will not let them secede even with 80% of the  vote of north cali    the whole state has the vote to do it, heck there is even states voting drop out of the union 36 of them states petitioning to secede from the United States

bring PennYork to Ohio......this purple state could use a little more red.
