Two other thoughts.

I noticed yesterday a new flare, or rather one I had not seen before. It is North and East of me, maybe the Yoder well ?

Does anybody know ?

Second, I saw yesterday that it looked like there are folks on the Scott and Yost pads and that the pads have had some work done on them, but I am not down that way much.

Is Eclipse still doing site prep down there ?

Thank you.

The turkeys are gobbling better, my brother and I called in 3 and some hens Sunday in Hocking county.

Wondering if you have heard or seen anything on the Yost pad?  I am out of state and rely on information from this site to keep up on what's happening in the area.  Currently leased with Antero, but part of the Yost acreage which leads me to believe they are headed into a joint venture to drill this well.  Very frustrating to have the Hayes well of the backside, the Fritz around the corner, get permitted in the Yost and then have everything come to a halt.

Havent heard anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if they go there and drill a hole to hold the acreage for a few years, till oil prices go up. Eclipse took their rigs to the east where it's mostly gas. They drilled the verticles on the Finneran before they left. They also drilled some on the Terry Scott wells right beside the Yost. Lets just hope the price of oil goes up.

Well,  Things started getting interesting around my place today.  I received a check in the mail today from Rex Energy, which I can only assume is a royalty check.  Rex doesn't put any information on the check stubs, rather they have a website set up for owners to visit with the production details located there.  The only problem is, some important data is missing from the website as well as the check stub.

First off, as I was suspecting recently, they have split the J Hall pad into two separate pools.  I'm thinking the reason behind this was due to a landowner having a lease with a 160 acre max provision in it, and not wanting to amend the lease.  So they split the pad up as #2, 4, 6 & 8 in one pool of 428.x acres, and #'s 10 &12 in another pool of 159.x acres.  I only found this out from my royalty statement and looking at the ODNR site since I never received a declaration of pooling.

My royalties are off of the 2, 4, 6, and 8 pool.  The information missing from the royalty statement is the production dates.  The wells went into production on Jan 15th.  The royalty statement was generated in 3/19.  Were the royalties I received only from the 15th to the 31st of Jan, or from the 15th of Jan till the 15th of Feb, or maybe from the 15th of Jan until the 19th of march when the statement was generated?  Your guess is as good as mine.  However what I did get paid averaged out to about $850 per acre, but don't ask me what the time frame of that production was.  I am trying to find out for sure.

Thx for letting us know. Nice to see not all folks on here disappear once they start receiving royalties!

Hey thanks for sharing and congrats. My statement was tough to understand but I finally figured it out. I'm sure Rex statement is totally different from Eclipse though.

I got a call back from Rex today about my question on the dates of the check.  The check is for the month of January.  He told me they do the checks in whole months and they usually lag about 2 months behind the actual production month.  So the first check was from the date the wells went into production (apparently according to them Jan 6th) until the end of January.

Tom,

You are somewhat right about the the J Hall being split into two separate units.

Looks like they are flaring at McClain well.
They may be flaring. I know they drilled the north laterals and heard they are not doing the south laterals at this time. They ll be back someday I'm sure

A new picture of the McClain well, I wonder if there are any other rigs operating in Guernsey county ?
