Some friends & family have been approached by landmen claiming to be with ETP asking for pipeline agreements. Anyone heard of ETP? Are these people legit? Anyone else been contacted?

Energy Transfer Partners and they are the company that is putting in the Rover Pipeline.
Just as a note at least talk with them to see what they are offering; The Rover Pipeline has the power of eminent domain which means they can take landowners to court. The Rover Pipeline has been planned for at least two years, if I understand correctly final approval from FERC could come as early as this fall.
If you want to see maps of planned right of way check your local county library they should have been sent copies of all info if it is planned to go through your county.
