I recently watched the movie "Hillary's America" I recommend every American see that. It explains the history of the democratic party and the rise of the Clintons. It talks about their views on the oil and gas industry and the war on coal and fossil fuels. I came away from that movie enlightened and disturbed. If she becomes our next POTUS we are in for trouble on a biblical scale. Our country will cease to exist as we know it. Has any one else on site seen this?

It is crystal clear that the Clinton "Wall-Street-Witch" wants to provoke Russia into a nuclear war.  The US has been instigating threats against Russia with the clear intention of causing a nuclear exchange which the psychopathic neocon's at the Pentagon think we can win.  Putin is the only sane person in this sick and deadly scenario but even this true statesman will lose patience and not allow his country to be threatened to the point of irreversible vulnerability. For the best analysis read this article by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts who was Ronald Reagan's Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal. He was columnist for Business Week, Scripps Howard News Service, and Creators Syndicate. He has had many university appointments and his internet columns have attracted a worldwide following. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2016/07/11/paul-craig-roberts-vladi...

Cap,

I am not convinced that Hillary will take on Putin.

But it is clear that she intends to engage our country in a new war in order to enhance her stature.

At this point I am not sure how that affects shale production.

lance,

BTW, the greatest post ever.

We gotta find a news outlet to post the following: Hillary plans to Reduce Welfare and Food Stamp programs. Hillary plans to Curtail Social Security program. Hillary plans to increase death tax. (Eliminates Zombie Vote). Hillary will appoint Ron Hale as Energy Secretary and Mike Hunt as Press Secretary. That will Definitely get her elected but no worries as Long as Republicans Control House and Senate.

Wow, Thanks Barry D.

Your post has elicited very stimulating discussion of a pertinent issue which affects all land owners.

Thanks again Barry D I like to try and be a help to everyone here because we have strength in numbers. Divided we all fall.... :)

Probably so Joe, Trump's campaign won't waste time or money with a voting block that will be on their side regardless. With the Clitons stance on fossil fuels only a moron vote for her if they have mineral rights in any of the producing areas. Some of those land owners may not have mineral rights so might vote for her anyway. The main thing is that if we all stick together on this and tell all of our friends, and they tell all of their friends, and they tell all theirs,  then it might make a difference in November. If the Dems don't cheat again like they did to get Obama on the first ballot in 2008. They actually got names from the phone book of people who never vote and somehow hijacked the name and address's voted them for Obama. Had that not been the case Obama would have never been on the ballot that year.

Wrote to the Trump Campaign Headquarters and asked what Trump's position is on Rights of Private Ownership especially pertaining to Land / Mineral Owners / Lessors.

Also underlined that many Land / Mineral Owners / Lessors are complaining about being cheated of their compensation / being abused / taken advantage of by their Lessees.

Suggested that he speak up for Land / Mineral Owners / Lessors.

Noted that there are upwards of three million (3,000,000) Land Owners in the United States (suggesting that there is quite a substantial pool of votes at stake).

Haven't heard back yet.  So, now I'm wondering if it's because they believe they have our votes already - considering opposition's completely opposite position ? ?

Joseph,

I think you are being a bit cynical (and with respect I say) a bit naive.

National campaigns rarely get down into nitty gritty issues such as this.

So if you do not hear from the campaign I wouldn't view the lack of response as a sign of arrogance or lack of interest.

Instead, the campaign is probably more focused on the general issue of Hillary's anti-oil and gas position. After all, if she shuts down domestic oil and gas development and production landowner rights won't matter as much as a rat's behind.

Let's stay focused. The real issue for us in shale land is development of the shale(s). Hillary is anti shale development; Trump is pro shale development.

Finally, the issue of land owner/mineral rights is more local. The issue truly needs to be addressed in our state capitals. It is our state legislators who have let us down. We should set our focus on Charleston, Columbus, Harrisburg and Albany.

Always good to read your insight. Please share any response from the campaign.

Cynical - most certainly: naive - not: however, all noted and should I be graced with a Trump Campaign reply, will advise this forum..

They took my discussion off the top content list for some reason. Maybe because it ran for 30 days. Is that the time limit for a discussion? Thanks to everyone who made replies and added info to this topic. I still urge everyone to see the movie by D' nesh De' Souza, "Hillary's America" I think it's out on DVD now. Hillary hates fossil fuels and wants to shut down fracking nation-wide. She must not be elected our next POTUS!
