Recorder's Office

Anyone in Stark County that has an existing oil lease needs to look your name up at the Recorder's Office.  A company has already went through (several in fact) and sub-leased on approx. 15,000 pieces of bid land.  Found mine!

Found that our farm's existing Clinton lease has been taken over by another company for deep drilling rights.

What are your rights to royalties under the original lease?  You still own 1/8 of the original drilling profits.  Does that mean you will get 1/8 of what ever profit being taken by the sublease?
