Go to the state's "efacts" web site, select "authorization search" and for "application type" select NEW, for county select Sullivan, for program select OIL and GAS and optionally, select a date range. It will show you all the Sullivan County applications, both pending and approved.

You can have it email you at "efacts" everytime a permit is updated or misses a milestone. I have it set to send me an email whenever something for Sullivan county is added or changes and for the township I am in. I will sometimes get duplicates but then I am more sure to notice what is going on in my back yard...

Any indication of proposed drilling on Red Rock [Colley] on or near Game Lands 57 or 13? Also any idea where the Marc 1 [proposed] will route after Dushore?

I have not heard of anything on Red Rock(Colley twp) through "efacts" but I drive down 487 every day to Wilkes-Barre and have noticed a lot of logging and heavy truck activity just south of Lopez Winery about 3-4 miles. They have bulldozed 2 new roads into the woods on each side of 487. South of there, almost to Red Rock Job Corp, maybe 2 miles north of it, there has been a lot of logging also, but it looks more like someone clearing for housing and not the gas companies coming in because the "good" trees are maked to stay and not be logged like black-cherry and some hardwoods.

yes I too drive almost every day to WB. That activity is actual logging on the Game Lands

Two permits were just approved in Sullivan County for Roundtop 02 and 05, on Sept 1st and 2nd.

Marilyn, are they on State Forrest land??
