Event Description

Citizen Informational and Training Event related to baseline testing, interpretating results, and the formation of a Citizen Groundwater Quality Database- Free Event.

Presentation by Mr. Brian Oram, Professional Geologist and Director for the Center for Environmental Quality at Wilkes University.

 

This talk will focus on the major water quality issues of OUR REGION related to ground and surface water as well as new potential impacts from Marcellus shaledevelopment. Free and open to the public.  The talk will also discuss citizen monitoring of private wells, streams, and other watershed features.
