I dont know anything about them, and dont understand why they did not make you an offer. Where is your property?

Aegis Energy from where? And where is the land they are interested in (state and county)?

There are a lot of factors involved in making the decision to sell your mineral rights. Please make sure you completely understand every facet of your decision. You are starting out on the right foot...educating yourself.

I have no knowledge on selling mineral rights, but i've thought of the scenario and believe that unless you really do need the money sooner than later, you are going to give up the possibility of receiving lots more money in royalties in the future. You must be in a good area to have received this notice, however selling now is money in hand, where waiting is possibly a bit of gambling on the outcome.
