AMENDED GAS WELL?

Could someone please explain what it means to me to have been pooled in a well unit, and then have an 'amended well unit' declared on your pooling?????

Saw this under our name on Landex, cty records,,,have no idea what this means,

Havent been contacted or received any paper work from the drilling company on this matter,,

Any help??????

It likely means that they changed the size and shape of the unit.

They also do this for other reasons. I'm in a unit that has been amended 3 times. First time was because the original paperwork had mixed up listing of parcel numbers to some landowners. Second was to enlarge the unit and change shape. Third seems to have been to add a provision for unidentified heirs of an estate being held in a trust. I was sent a copy of the first amendment, only saw a copy of the second on Landex, and a copy of the third was sent with the division order paperwork.
