I just received a Google alert that said Chesapeake has posted on their company website that two wells ( shaw and Burdgett) are producing an average of 700 barrels each day.

I just read EVEP conference call. They have a good position in utica and are sharing some of the wells with CHK.  If you read through the transcript you can see they spend quite a bit of time on the utica and mention the Burgett well specifically. The way I read it, the Burgett well is producing 700 barrels of liquids a day for over a months time.

It sure does sound to me like the oil companies should be concentrating on production of oil at these existing NG well sites instead of natural gas.

Sounds like money in the bank.
