Permalink Reply by familyman on May 3, 2012 at 4:53am i know you werent referring to me, but why dont you get off this website. you are not providing education, just anger. Maybe a different audience supports you, but not here. Personally, i want our environment improved, and i can honestly tell you that RESPONSIBLE use of natural gas is one of the best ways to do that. In fact, that is why Los Angeles converted all 4000 transit busses to run on natural gas. Secondly, every diesel tractor trailer that is replaced with natural gas is equal to removing 325 autos from the roads. Is it perfect, no, but it is amazing. My problem with both sides, when they become extreme is that NO ONE wins. Isnt it better to emit less pollution now, with known available technology employing BET, BAT and BEET than to continue emitting diesel and gas pollutants at a high rate of pollution than to eliminate most pollution, while technology attempts to improve and find better solutions. I am in the business, and i honestly know that nat gas cars is the bridge till technology improves to make hydrogen viable. I am proud to be part of the VERY GREEN movement which is the use of natural gas. I am concerned how so many well pads were put so close together though considering the reality of leases, property lines and other restrictions, it doesnt sound accurate, im sure you are telling the truth, but could you provide a map, or well numbers and i would love to see whats going on. Our business wants the industry to be responsible, and green.

What you seem to fail to realize is that everyone on here doesnt want to hear opinions. We all would rather stick with facts & science. The anti-movements poster child was Dimock, PA. Now that the entire world knows what a sham the false claims of contamination were, anti-fracing voices have an even bigger task in convincing me and many others on this board of fracing's supposed propensity for contamination. It simply doesnt exist. Even the head of the anti-fossil fuel EPA, Lisa Jackson, has said no contamination has ever occured from fracing. Throw some facts behind your opinion and we can discuss. Leave your baseless claims at the front door.

Permalink Reply by Bill F. on May 3, 2012 at 12:57pm Lisa Jackson only knows what she is told ,by the way who are you anyhow ?Also the water in the bad wells in Dimock is bad I challenge anyone to drink this water from these wells.Ok lets leave that ,ok.I like to know your qualifications for saying that contamination doesn't exist .I personally know quite a few people that don't live in Dimock ,Pa that have water problems they are from Bradford county .There are more Hydro fracing wells in Bradford then any other county in Pa.Also other states .None of my claims are baseless ! only you think so .Can you prove my claims false.I have documented plenty of issues with this Nat gas drilling .I live where it is being done ,see!I am also entitled to post here just like you .It's always good to here both sides of a story...right,but I will take it easy from now on I see this is a one sided conversation !

You should locate a nearby farm and find one of the farm animals, e.g. a cow, a pig, or even a jackass, to debate with. At least then you will know the level of intelligence you are trying to debate with and you will feel much better about the outcome.
This guy's an idiot and likely drank (or smoked) something much worse than the water he alleges is contaminated. Facts don't mean anything to him. In fact, he likely wouldn't know what to do with one if he had it.

| AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] | Links |
