Permalink Reply by Elnathan Cory on November 17, 2013 at 5:50pm Good question! I guess they have to wait and see what happens. A lot of my neighbors are in this. I hope Halcon has to honor their promise!
Permalink Reply by fracking good on November 18, 2013 at 2:29am If you look into the Mercer county recorders office you will find Halcon has signed ROW agreements with many landowners in Sandy lake twp. At this point you would think Halcon would accept the leases since 20" pipe is going to run right through the area, avoid litigation and start drilling in the area.
"Who wants to do business with companies that are involved in litigation with their landowners and E&Ps? IMO, way too much baggage."
You nailed it, Chip. Landowners who tie themselves to that sinking ship are in for a bad stretch. Cut the chord and wait for that mess to get sorted out.
Is this just wishful thinking, or haven't you read CEO Floyd Wilson's recent statements that he intends to concentrate on more southern acreage in the play ?
I don't understand the question.
I was just replying to FRACKING GOOD'S opinion that Halcon is going to just start drilling more wells in Mercer County, PA.
Permalink Reply by fracking good on November 18, 2013 at 5:44am My statement is based on recorded Row agreements just filed by Halcon in Sandy lake twp. last week (look it up its in Mercer Co. public records) Why not drill close to a feed line and work your way out, Halcon, in my opinion, could pick up these leases still available in Sandy lake twp. and Stoneboro if they wanted to.

Permalink Reply by fracking good on November 18, 2013 at 6:41am I know, lol, Allam well (Halcon) is northeast about a mile or so, Shannon well (Swepi) southwest about a mile or so, if meteor that large would have struck in Sandy lake township those two areas would have been affected also.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
