Democrats Include Anti Oil and Gas Plank in 2016 Platform

According to Carol Browner, a former Environmental Protection Agency head and a current member of the Democratic platform drafting committee, the party’s draft 2016 platform “moves decisively beyond an ’all-of-the-above’ energy strategy” and includes an amendment to “phase down fossil fuel production.”

Despite the proven success of natural gas in reducing emissions, it doesn’t appear to be part of the plan, which seems geared toward leaving oil and natural gas out of the energy strategy equation.

I don't agree about nat gas ... Hillary is waging war against coal and the only viable near term substitute is nat gas. Unless someone perfects economical cold fusion, you shouldn't worry.

I would hate to be a coal miner.

On repeated occasions HilLIARy has stated that she would end "fracking". No fracking, no natural gas.

The important point that people miss about HilLIARy and Obama is that they are about control. With energy being abundant and inexpensive it is difficult for statists such as them to implement the control they desire over our society.

The talk about renewals is a ruse they use to motivate the anti oil and gas folks to influence legislators to pass laws allowing the federal government more control over energy. That's all this is about.

So, yes I am worried. I take her at her word, she intends to curtail the shale revolution by restricting fracking if not banning it altogether.

HilLIARyClinton is very dangerous and bad for our country.

She should be in jail as we speak. "Crooked Hillary" is a terrible old woman who will carry on Obama's failed policies.

Folks who use such infantile behavior like this constantly, (misspelling names) have reduced themselves to bad little boys that no one wants to listen to! Trump has hurt himself by all of his nasty comments of his competitors, entire sections of  the human population. He does this because he has no real answers to any of the problems of the world.

What I am saying is, there is no point in calling names like has been done here. Why waste your thinking powers in congering up nasty names and labels to put someone down that you do not like?  Better to use your thinking powers to find solutions to the problems then to call someone a  nasty name.  And where did I say that Hillary Clinton was the best choice?

Well of course Democrats oppose natural gas . . . along with all other fossil fuels.  This is not exactly news . . . . and if it is news for you you've not been paying attention.

As for Carol Browner, one look at the woman tells you all you need to know.  She is an apparition unrepresentative of the vast majority of Americans, but completely in step with Obama and his disgusting "followers".  Should Hillary be elevated to POTUS you can expect a lot more like Browner.

Oops.  Sorry for the misunderstanding which was my fault.  When I wrote "news for you" I did not mean you personally, Barry.  I intended that to mean anyone in general.  I need to write more clearly.

Certainly what you wrote is true.  Indeed, a vote for any Democrat is a strong vote against oil and gas development.  The entire Democrat party is a nest of statist, anti-American, pro-globalization, demons.
