Hi
We have an old flat rate lease on a piece of property in Wetzel Co. WV. Drilling company wants an amendment to pool, but won't pay more than $200/net acre. I am asking this question of someone who knows from any experience, what we would stand to loose if we refused to sign the amendment assuming 12.5 rate. We only own a 1/6 of 100 acres on a proposed 650 acre Marcellus site. I know you can't give exact figures, but could someone give me a low and a high monetary figure based on their experience. (assume good well/bad well) I am assuming they would drill elsewhere and we would be left out.
Thanks

Hi Jim,
I just found this link here at our discussions for you...why don't you give that 5 star a call...surely they know about such going on. Hope it helps. I know how important these decisions are...so don't hurry just because the oil company says they might drill elsewhere but don't delay either from finding out the info you need to make the right decision...hope you and your family do well!
